While no two journeys are the same, having a therapist who shares aspects of your lived experience can bring a deeper sense of safety and understanding.

Living the black and brown experience, whether it’s struggling with being "the strong one" in the family, feeling unseen by partners and wrestling cultural/familial expectations, micro aggressions, and its consequences, influences the way that we experience the world, how it shapes us, and impacts our connections. You may be coming out, healing from intergenerational trauma, racism, colorism, exploring gender and sexuality, or simply trying to breathe. While no two journeys are the same, having a therapist who shares aspects of your lived experience can bring a deeper sense of safety and understanding.

As a Black and queer therapist, I know how important it is to feel seen in a therapy space. Together, we’ll explore how external systems and internal narratives impact your well-being, and we’ll co-create a space that allows you to slow down, explore those internal narratives, and also honor cultural strengths.

My practice is centered on creating a space where Black and Brown folks feel affirmed and supported. I hold a deep awareness of how systems of discrimination and inequality can affect not just individual healing, but also the dynamics within therapeutic relationships. Honoring your personhood and intersectional identities is central to our work together, whether you’re exploring your sense of self or working to strengthen your partnership.

Therapy is a courageous step, and finding the right fit matters. Whether you're looking to reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationship, or navigate life's complexities, I’m here to support you with compassion, clarity, and culturally informed care.
