Marney Turner

Limited licensed clinical social worker

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. From toddlers to adults, I work with people across the full lifespan and I'd love to work with you or your family

I have a special place in my heart for kiddos, preteens, and teens and the parents trying to keep up with them. With younger children, I use play therapy, because play is how kids make sense of their world. I'm currently working toward my Registered Play Therapist credential (a process that requires 500+ hours of training!), and it's work I find deeply meaningful. I also love working with young adults figuring out who they are and where they're headed, women who are juggling everything and feeling the weight of all of it, folks navigating life with ADHD and/or anxiety, and anyone in the middle of a life transition whether that's an empty nest, retirement, caring for aging parents, a career change, or something else entirely.

I'm laid back, genuinely curious, and always focused on what you need. Sessions feel like a real conversation we'll dig into what's happening right now while also exploring the deeper patterns underneath. Above all, I'm a person-centered therapist, which means this space is built around you. We work in the way that works for you, not some prescribed idea of what therapy is supposed to look like. The goal is insight that actually leads somewhere: new ways of thinking, feeling, and showing up that fit who you are and what matters most to you.

As Brené Brown says, "We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to." I'd love to be part of your journey.
